TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Konz intends to extend and modernise the primary school in the Könen district. As part of the measure, the construction of a new canteen building is planned as an extension to the existing school building. In addition, a new central heat supply system is to be created, which will in future supply both the new canteen building and the existing primary school building with heat. The project is expected to be financed in part from funding from the Investment Programme for Full-Day Education (1st construction phase) and in part from the City of Konz’s own funds (2nd construction phase). After completion of performance phases 1 to 5, the contracting authority intends to submit the required funding applications and applications for the allocation of funds to the competent funding bodies, the political committees and the municipal supervisory authority, in order to create the prerequisite for the provision of additional financial resources.
