TENDER DESCRIPTION

The city of Konz intends to expand and modernize the primary school in the Könen district. As part of the measure, the construction of a new canteen building is planned as an extension to the existing school building. In addition, a new central heat supply system is to be created, which will in future supply both the new canteen building and the existing primary school building with heat. The project will be financed in part from funding provided by the Ganztagsausbau (expansion of all-day care) investment programme (1st construction phase) and in part from the city’s own funds (Eigenmittel) of the city of Konz (2nd construction phase). After completion of service phases 1 to 5, the contracting authority intends to submit the required funding applications and applications for allocation of funds to the competent funding bodies, the political committees and the municipal supervisory authority in order to create the prerequisites for the provision of further funds.
