TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of these engineering services are the tasks of environmental construction supervision for the replacement new build of the Ruhr Bridge, whose execution period is expected to comprise approximately 60 months. The contractor assumes these services for all intended specialist and sub-packages in accordance with the statutory and contractual requirements and ensures their fulfilment in accordance with the contract. The supervision includes continuous monitoring and coordination of environmental, nature and landscape protection legal matters on the construction site. In this context, it must be ensured that the construction execution complies with the environmental specialist requirements, the official ancillary provisions of the planning approval decision (Planfeststellungsbeschluss) including all dates and deadlines, the generally accepted rules of technology, and the relevant nature conservation provisions. The services are provided strictly in accordance with the statutory bases of environmental law as well as the applicable guidelines for the protection of flora, fauna, soil and water, and take into account the entire period of the planning and execution phase.
