TENDER DESCRIPTION

Samples from the environment are taken for the Federal Environmental Specimen Bank (UPB) on an annual or biennial basis. In these biota samples, the substance groups and sample quantities listed in Annex 2 of the procurement documents must be examined. With their offer, bidders shall submit a proposal describing which methods will be used to analyze the samples for the analyte set. The required detection and quantification limits are based on experiences from measurements over recent years. Bidders shall justify any adjustments to the scope of services, especially for analytes whose concentrations in certain sample types have decreased so much due to environmental protection successes that they can no longer be detected with the detection limits of the existing methods and the effort to improve the detection limits would be disproportionately high. The results are to be delivered after quality control, quality assurance and plausibility checks in the UPB analysis import format (Excel files for import into the UBA database).
