TENDER DESCRIPTION

For the UPB, samples from the environment are collected annually or biennially. In these biota samples, the substance groups and sample quantities listed in Annex 2 of the procurement documents are to be examined. . With the offer, the bidders submit a proposal indicating which methods will be used to analyze the samples for the analyte set. The required detection and quantification limits are based on the experience from measurements over recent years. The bidders justify adjustments to the scope of services, particularly for analytes whose concentrations in certain sample types have declined so much due to environmental protection successes that they can no longer be detected with the detection limits of existing methods and the effort to improve detection limits is disproportionately high. . The results must be delivered after quality control, quality assurance, and plausibility checks in the UPB analysis import format (Excel files for import into the UBA database). The necessary work is to be continuously performed by the contractor from the contract start until the contract end after a maximum of four years, in close coordination with the Federal Environment Agency (UBA).
