On the Vaihingen campus of the University, the state of Baden-Württemberg, represented by the University Building Office Stuttgart and Hohenheim, is planning the III. expansion stage of the High Performance Computing Centre (HLRS III). The building includes server, technical and office areas for research and teaching. The planned new build HLRS III is to be constructed as a free-standing building with exterior dimensions of L= 77.75 m, B= 37.50 m and H= 12.50 m or 16.50 m including technical installation, as a reinforced concrete or wood-concrete hybrid structure. GFA 12,700 m2. The contractor’s scope of performance includes all interior doors: 195 items in total, of which approximately 80% are fire protection doors (e.g. T90 or T30).
