TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the contract is maintenance cleaning as well as other cleaning services and special cleanings in the MODB service building (Modulbau) of the German Bundestag. In addition, the removal of snow slabs and ice build-up at the MODB service building is part of the contract. The MODB is a building complex consisting of 400 modules. It is used essentially to accommodate members’ offices and the associated service offices of the Bundestag administration. This property therefore places high demands on the representative appearance. The scope of services includes the cleaning of office premises, meeting rooms, tea kitchens, circulation areas and sanitary rooms. Each year, a total floor area of 1,784,182.13 m² is to be cleaned. This is divided into the following basic areas: - 58.30 % main usable area, - 5.95 % ancillary usable area and - 35.75 % circulation area.
