TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Output Management department of HZD manages the tools for preparing print data from state procedures for bulk printing as well as their IT stamping in cooperation with Deutsche Post AG as a mail service provider. The software components of the DocBridge Production Suite from Compart are used. The objective is to conclude an EVB-IT service contract for the procurement of support services for the use of the software components of the DocBridge Production Suite. At HZD, the following system and SW elements are used for processing print output: Virtual servers with Suse Linux Enterprise Server in the current SW version SW Docbridge Pilot 4.1 SW Docbridge Mill 2020-09 SW DocBridge Post-Optimization-Modules 3.2 SW Mailoptimizer 5.12 Based on these components, approx. 50 different printing processes are supported. A further interface for print data archiving is also used; this is carried out with tools from the manufacturer betasystems.
