TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Output Management specialist area of HZD manages tools for processing print data from state-level procedures for bulk printing as well as their IT release/clearing for shipment in cooperation with Deutsche Post AG as the shipping service provider. The software components of the DocBridge Production Suite from the company Compart are used. The aim is to conclude an EVB-IT services framework contract for the procurement of support services for the use of the software components of the DocBridge Production Suite. At HZD, the following system and SW elements are used to process the print output: Virtual servers with Suse Linux Enterprise Server in the current SW version SW Docbridge Pilot 4.1 SW Docbridge Mill 2020-09 SW DocBridge Post-Optimization modules 3.2 SW Mailoptimizer 5.12 On the basis of these components, approx. 50 different printing processes are handled. In addition, an interface for print data archiving is used; this is performed with tools from the manufacturer betasystems.
