TENDER DESCRIPTION

With the tender concepts Retica 30 and Retica 30+, the RhB will carry out various tender stages in the coming years. For the new hourly RE through-service Landquart - Chur, the RE must be accelerated on the Landquart - Chur section. By accelerating the Untervaz - Chur section from today’s v = 100 km/h to new v = 110 / 120 km/h, the strained operating conditions of the RE are to be relieved. In addition to replacing switch 51 in Untervaz and geometric adjustments in the switch area, adjustments are also required to the SA systems, cable systems, overhead line and low-voltage systems. Further, in the switch area, track-bed refurbishment must be carried out and drainage created. The contract includes the new construction and extension of the track bed up to and including sub-ballasting, including drainage, as well as the creation of the civil engineering works for the cable, safety and overhead line systems.
