TENDER DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this consultation is the automation and the EC electrical and safety compliance of a PLASSYS-MP 450S cathodic sputtering deposition machine that was acquired in 2002 by the FEMTO-ST Institute (UMR CNRS 6174). The upgrade of the MP 450S machine will make it possible to ensure the continuing operation of this equipment by replacing the current system with a system including a controller (PLC) and control and supervision software, while also automating key mechanical movements (shutter, substrate holder door, etc.). This will include the replacement of some of its obsolete sub-assemblies. If necessary, the equipment may be transferred to the premises of the tenderer for this upgrade. The transport of the equipment will then be at the tenderer’s expense, who must specify in its offer the resulting period of unavailability resulting from this transfer. The equipment is intended for use as part of research projects within the MIMENTO technology platform of FEMTO-ST.
