TENDER DESCRIPTION

The service that is the subject of this procurement includes the taking over, weighing, further processing and disposal of non-hazardous waste and non-hazardous waste; C&O 20 02 01 — biodegradable waste, as well as all other handling operations (loading, transport and unloading of waste) if the waste is not processed at the waste take-over site. Pursuant to Article 4(1) point 5 of the Waste Management Act (NN 84/2021), biodegradable waste is any waste or part of waste that is subject to anaerobic or aerobic decomposition, such as waste from gardens, food waste, and paper and cardboard. Accordingly, the service that is the subject of this procurement includes the processing and disposal of biodegradable waste (C&O 20 02 01), which includes green waste, bark, grass, waste from gardens, plant tissue, waste from parks and gardens, waste from trimming hedges and trees, plants, weeds, waste from cutting wood, green waste from food preparation that has not been processed thermally (residues from cleaning vegetables and fruit), egg shells, tea-preparation bags, green waste from the market, and smaller quantities of paper food napkins.
