TENDER DESCRIPTION

The service covered by this procurement includes the collection, weighing, further processing, and disposal of non-hazardous waste and non-hazardous waste; Code 20 02 01 – biodegradable waste, as well as all other handling activities (loading, transport, and unloading of waste) if the waste is not processed at the waste pickup location. Pursuant to Article 4, Paragraph 1, Point 5 of the Waste Management Act (NN 84/2021), biodegradable waste is any waste or part of waste that is subject to anaerobic or aerobic degradation, such as waste from gardens, food waste, and paper and cardboard. In accordance with the above, the service covered by this procurement includes the processing and disposal of biodegradable waste (Code 20 02 01) which includes green waste, bark, grass, waste from gardens, plant tissue, waste from parks and gardens, waste from trimming hedges and trees, plants, weeds, waste from cutting wood, green waste from food preparation that has not been processed thermally (residues from cleaning vegetables and fruit), egg shells, bags for preparing tea, green waste from markets, and smaller quantities of paper towels from food.
