TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of procurement is towboat readiness services with the home port Zadar for the purposes of searching and rescue at sea and preventing marine pollution from vessels in the area of the maritime space under the authority of the Port Authority Zadar — the costs of the towboat’s cold operating system — all for the smooth performance of maritime traffic, safety of navigation at sea, and protection of the marine environment, with the service provision period from the date of signature of the contract for 12 months. For the performance of the stated services, it is necessary to ensure the towboat’s continuous presence in the Port of Zadar, which must have a towing force (Bollard Pull) of at least 35 tonnes (350 kN), power of the main engine of at least 2200 kW, power of the bow thruster of at least 180 kW, and be equipped with a properly certified fire-fighting system in accordance with regulations (fire extinguishing with water and foam).
