TENDER DESCRIPTION

Relates to Area I Winter maintenance of roads is intended to alleviate inconveniences related to the occurrence of weather phenomena during the winter period. The rules for the work carried out and the service technology result from the currently applicable standards for winter maintenance of roads (Appendix No. 10 to the SWZ). The standards for winter maintenance of roads describe the condition of a road for a given standard and permissible deviations from the standards after cessation of snowfall and after identification of the occurrence of a phenomenon. The service consists in clearing roads, streets and accompanying facilities (bus bays, car parks) of snow, ice, slush and eliminating winter slipperiness, as well as monitoring and controlling the condition of the road and street surface and performing one-time cleaning after the winter period of the roads. Over 50% of the roads are unpaved (ground) roads with a width of approx. 2.5–5.0 m, while the remaining roads have the following surface: bituminous, broken-up (destructured), and surface-treated with asphalt emulsion.
