Part 1 – Municipal roads: A. Winter maintenance of roadways and pavements of municipal roads and internal roads includes: 1) providing materials for winter maintenance of roadways and pavements, 2) effective combating of winter slipperiness through the use of chemical and mechanical measures permitted for trading: a) without delay after precipitation stops, and in the case of long-lasting precipitation – as appropriate to the prevailing weather conditions, subject to the proviso that there is no right for a layer of packed or trampled snow with a thickness exceeding 1 cm to form, b) without delay after the occurrence of black ice, c) as per needs in other cases, 3) ongoing cleaning of pavements, removal of snow, ice and slush, and the use of chemical and mechanical measures within pedestrian crossings; removal (hauling away) of snow, ice and slush and the use of chemical and mechanical measures within roadways, squares and junctions (turnouts) – with particular emphasis on pedestrian crossings, 4) ongoing removal of other contaminants from roadways, 5) ongoing removal of other contaminants from pavements within road corridors, 6) providing materials for winter maintenance of…
