TENDER DESCRIPTION
Kasseler Verkehrs-Gesellschaft AG plans the construction of the new GUW BI1 as a replacement for the existing GUW. As preparation for the procurement of new trams, a new substation is being built at the Betriebshof Wilhelmshöhe site. The new construction serves as the first step towards converting the depot operation from a mixed operation to an island operation in accordance with VDV 506. Disposal of the existing installations of GUW BI 1 is also part of the tender.
