TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the public contract is the preparation of the Concept for managing rainfall runoff (stormwater) for the city’s urban green areas and public spaces of the city of Karlovy Vary (hereinafter referred to as the “Concept”) with regard to the specifics of the spa town (protective zones of natural mineral water sources). The Concept shall be based on the principles of managing rainwater in compliance with national and European legislation and current national technical regulations and standards. The Concept will be prepared with a view to the year 2050 and will correspond to the Climate Change Adaptation Strategy under the conditions of the Czech Republic. The Concept shall not include a comprehensive concept of drainage runoff conditions; it is focused on the use of rainfall runoff (stormwater) for vegetation. The Concept will be prepared as a conceptual document intended for the needs of the Statutory City of Karlovy Vary, in particular for the managers of municipal greenery – Lázeňské lesy a parky Karlovy Vary, the departments of the City Magistrate of Karlovy Vary, as well as for the road administrators and designers preparing reconstructions of public spaces.
