TENDER DESCRIPTION
The instrument reprocessing services of the North Karelia Welfare Area are centralized into two (2) locations in the Joensuu area, the central hospital and Siilainen instrument reprocessing units. The procurement is seeking one (1) trolley washer for each of the two instrument reprocessing centers. A trolley washer will be acquired for the Siilainen instrument reprocessing during 2026, and the device for the central hospital will be procured in 2027 as an option. The contracting authority is not committed to purchasing a certain number of devices; procurements will be made according to the authority's needs and available appropriations. The central hospital instrument reprocessing services handle a total of approximately 151,000 instruments and instrument sets annually. The instrument reprocessing produces services for 14 operating rooms, all hospital wards, outpatient clinics, procedure units, and dental emergency services. The instrument reprocessing operates on weekdays from 7:00 to 21:00 and on weekends from 8:00 to 16:00.
