TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Vantaa, together with Fintraffic, will organise a competitive tender procedure for maintenance services for traffic light-controlled junctions located in Vantaa and for traffic management devices for road areas, to the extent specified in more detail in the procurement documents. The key tasks included in the maintenance service are fault duty/rapid response, fault monitoring, fault analysis and -repairs, repairs of traffic damage, scheduled inspection and maintenance rounds for the equipment, maintaining traffic light documentation, and other expert tasks related to traffic lights. In addition, it is the responsibility of the Service Provider to maintain a spare parts warehouse. Under the framework of the maintenance service, traffic light and traffic management device refurbishment works may be carried out. During the contract period, traffic light junctions or traffic management devices may be added to or removed from the scope of the service. Any new sites will be located within the Vantaa area.
