TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Espoo and Kiinteistö Oy Espoon Keskuskeittiö (each later also the Contracting Authority) request tenders for maintenance and repair services for backup generators. The Contracting Authority’s most typical orders from suppliers are annual maintenance of backup generators and the repair of faults identified in connection with these. The power class of the current backup generators at the Espoo City’s Tilapalvelut business unit is 10 kW – 1200 kW. Most of the units are rated at less than 100 kW. The number of units is estimated to be 50. For the framework agreement to be formed on the basis of the tendering procedure, three (3) suppliers and one (1) reserve supplier will be selected. A more detailed description of the subject matter of the procurement is provided in Appendix 1 to the request for tender: “Description of the subject matter of the procurement”. The estimated total value of the procurement excluding value added tax is EUR 500,000. Of this, the City of Espoo’s share is EUR 400,000 and Kiinteistö Oy Espoon Keskuskeittiö’s share is EUR 100,000.
