TENDER DESCRIPTION
As part of the Verkehrsprojekt Deutsche Einheit (VDE) 8.1 - freight train line, a two-track, single-span steel bowstring bridge is being constructed on the new line 5955 in the northwest of Nuremberg at km G 14,850 in the “award package 4 - railway overpass at the Steinach junction (EÜ AS Steinach)”. The bridge is used to transfer the three-arm junction Fürth-Steinach of the Federal motorway (BAB) 73. The bridge superstructure is preassembled outside the traffic areas of the Steinach junction and then, in several sliding stages, pushed onto the abutments previously constructed into its final position.
