TENDER DESCRIPTION
As part of the Verkehrsprojekt Deutsche Einheit (VDE) 8.1 – freight railway line, a two-track, single-span segmented arch bridge is being constructed on the new line 5955 in the northwest of Nuremberg at km G 14.850 in “Award Package 4 – Railway overpass for the connection ramp Steinach (EÜ AS Steinach)”. The bridge is used to carry over the three-arm connection ramp Fürth-Steinach of the Bundesautobahn (BAB) 73. The bridge deck is prefabricated outside the traffic areas of the Steinach connection ramp and then, in several sliding/propulsion stages, pushed into its final position onto the abutments previously constructed.
