Construction description for VE22_Gewerk Tiling works General description The Ostheide Joint Municipal Authority (Samtgemeinde Ostheide) is building a new school building at the Barendorf Primary School in timber construction instead of an existing building. In addition, conversion and refurbishment measures will be carried out in other parts of the building. The new building will include classrooms, toilets and a lift, and has a floor area of approx. 672 m2. The new building, component D, is two storeys and is connected to the existing building. The overall dimensions of the new build are 48 m in length and 14 m in width. Execution in timber construction. Load-bearing walls and ceilings are made of timber; in some areas, due to fire protection requirements, they are made in solid construction. Green roof with PV. No basement. An additional escape route will be created from the 1st floor (1.OG) in steel construction. Existing building, mostly in solid construction, partly drywall construction.
