TENDER DESCRIPTION

The project comprises the construction of an approximately 1.1 km long, continuous pedestrian and cycle route from Talacker to Solarstrasse. The route runs to the north of the railway line and passes over SBB and industrial areas as well as partly existing cycle and footpaths that are to be adapted. The alignment consists of a 4.30 m wide carriageway with a red-coloured surfacing for cycle traffic and a 2.00 to 2.50 m wide footpath. This is to be laid with paving and is separated from the cycle carriageway by a diagonally set stone. The Seenerstrasse is crossed with a new reinforced concrete bridge 23.50 m long and 7.50 m wide. The bridge, designed as a frame structure, is visually aligned with the adjacent SBB bridge. Most of the rainwater infiltrates laterally into adjacent green strips and the entire route is illuminated with lamp posts positioned on the north side. As part of the project, utility services projects will be implemented.
