TENDER DESCRIPTION

Messe Berlin GmbH (hereinafter “Messe Berlin” or “contracting authority”) is putting out to tender this construction service relating to the connector between halls 8 and 9. The subject of this award procedure are construction services for the connector Hall 8. The contracting unit 02 facade works includes all facade works, exterior door installations, and parapets on the three floors E01, E02, ZE2 and E03 of the connecting building between halls 8 and 9. In the upper floor (E02), a comprehensive steel frame structure including a roof deck made of trapezoidal sheet metal is installed on the existing building, to which these facade works will connect. The steel frame structure and the roof deck are not part of the VE 02 facade works. The measure is directly connected with the new construction of hall 9 (“DOCK 9”) and is required for its successful implementation. The contractor must therefore take into account the interfaces with parallel construction measures, in particular in the area of hall 9, and carry out the required coordination with the project stakeholders named by the contracting authority.
