TENDER DESCRIPTION

Messe Berlin GmbH (hereinafter “Messe Berlin” or “contracting authority”) is tendering this construction service for the connector between halls 8 and 9. The subject of this procurement is construction services for the connector in Hall 8. The procurement unit 03 roof insulation and waterproofing works includes insulation and waterproofing works on new and existing flat roof surfaces. These include the installation of thermal insulation made of mineral wool and a bituminous roof waterproofing system, including the required edge, interface and detail formations at parapets, vertical structural elements, roof skylights and penetrations. The service further includes forming and closing roof penetrations, installing and sealing building-in components and roof outlets supplied on the contractor’s side, as well as temporary emergency waterproofing and vapor barriers during the construction period. In areas of existing shaft structures, insulation and waterproofing works are planned in connection with raising the shafts as well as repairs to existing roof surfaces.
