TENDER DESCRIPTION
Type and scope of construction work: The remaining pits of the Teichgruppe Fortschritt, consisting of the Fabrikteich, Wildschweinteich and Kabelbaggerteich, were created from the spoil development of the open-cast mine Victoria III, which was operated from 1913 to 1949. In many shoreline areas of the three remaining pits, hidden embankments were constructed in the subsoil by means of vibratory impact compaction in order to secure the site from a geotechnical perspective (elimination of the risk of landslides). However, since in some sections further follow-up work is still required and work is also necessary for the construction of the outfall Meuro-Süd, the limit water levels in the Teichgruppe must continue to be maintained in the medium term. The water management system equipped with two Goulds 3410 centrifugal pumps pumps on average 200 l/s (720 m³/h) and serves to maintain the limit water level of +94.50 mNHN in the Fabrikteich and +95.5 mNHN in the Wildschweinteich.
