In addition to the MHKW conversion project, within construction phase 2, the construction of a new heat off-take station (district-heating transfer station) on the MHKW operating site is planned. After the plant engineering of line 1 has been dismantled, in its place in component (BT) 03 a new heat off-take station with district-heating heat condensers (FW heat condensers) will be erected. The future heat off-take from the MHKW will then no longer be through steam, but through hot water. The planned modification of the MHKW by constructing and operating a heat off-take station will be applied for as part of a change procedure pursuant to § 16 BImSchG. The application for approval under the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) in accordance with 17.
