The district of Hildesheim has childcare by childminders who, throughout the district area, in addition to day-care centres, take on the task of providing childcare. There is a great interest in training and further educating these childcare by childminders appropriately in order to ensure a suitably high standard of childcare quality. Therefore, it is planned to provide a general continuing training programme for childcare by childminders, as well as to offer the qualification courses in accordance with QHB. In addition, an additional qualification in Inclusion is to be offered in order to be able to cover the increasing need for inclusion also through childcare by childminders.
