TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Paderborn/Höxter local transport association (nph) published the advance contract notice required pursuant to Article 7(2) of Regulation 1370/2007 on 10.07.2025 in the supplement to the EU Official Journal (announcement number: 453560-2025). No commercial application was received by the Detmold District Government during the 3-month periods following the publication of the advance contract notice. As part of the dissolution of the nph special-purpose association on 01.02.2026, the responsibility for public transport in the district areas was transferred to the respective districts of Paderborn and Höxter. Since then, the districts of Paderborn and Höxter have been the responsible authorities under the relevant legal provisions of the state of NRW for the planning, organisation and design of public transport in their respective district areas. Against this background, the Höxter district (contracting authority) is now tendering the transport services in the line bundle Höxter district North in a competitive tendering procedure.
