TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Paderborn/Höxter local transport association (nph) published on 10.07.2025 in the supplement to the EU Official Journal (Notice number: 453560-2025) the prior information notice required pursuant to Article 7(2) of Regulation 1370/2007. No commercial competitive application was received by the Detmold District Government in the three-month period following publication of the prior information notice. Due to the dissolution of the nph special purpose association as of 01.02.2026, the responsibility for public transport in the district areas passed to the respective districts of Paderborn and Höxter. Since then, the districts of Paderborn and Höxter have been responsible contracting authorities on the basis of the relevant legal provisions of the State of NRW for the planning, organization, and design of public transport in their respective district areas. Against this background, the Höxter district (contracting authority) is now tendering the transport services in the line bundle Höxter district North in a competitive procurement procedure.
