TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Paderborn/Höxter local transport association (nph) published the required prior information notice pursuant to Article 7(2) of Regulation 1370/2007 on 10.07.2025 in the supplement to the EU Official Journal (notice number: 453560-2025). During the 3-month periods following the publication of the prior information notice, no commercial applications were received by the Detmold District Government. In the course of dissolving the nph special-purpose association on 01.02.2026, the responsibility for local public transport (ÖPNV) in the district areas passed to the respective districts of Paderborn and Höxter. Since then, the districts of Paderborn and Höxter have been the responsible local public transport authorities for planning, organising, and shaping ÖPNV in their respective district areas based on the relevant legal regulations of the state of NRW. Against this background, the district of Höxter (contracting authority) is now tendering the transport services within the route bundle district Höxter South in a competitive procurement procedure.
