TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Steinburg Broadband Supply Special Purpose Association (hereinafter ZVBS or contracting authority) aims to provide its association area, with the help of funding from the federal government and the state of Schleswig-Holstein, with a comprehensive, sustainable, as well as future-proof and high-performance broadband network (gigabit network). For this purpose, the services for the delivery and construction of this network are awarded to external contractors. The ZVBS is a public-law corporation, founded in 2010, representing the association area with its total of 98 municipalities from 7 offices of the Steinburg district. The core areas of the association area are already largely developed, and even in the outer areas 880 of the 1,100 properties have already received a fiber optic connection. To provide all households of the association area with a high-performance fiber optic network in the future, densifications are continuously taking place in the core areas and further expansion in the outer areas is being advanced.
