TENDER DESCRIPTION

As a result of the increased immigration of refugees and the associated rising proportion of foreign citizens, the Thuringian State Government decided, with effect from May 2019, to make interpreting services under a state programme available, namely “video and audio interpreting”. In this way, communication with people who have no or insufficient knowledge of German is to be enabled or supported in a rapid and professional manner. This state programme to overcome language barriers in various areas (including, among others, administration/municipalities, asylum procedures and integration, health and justice) is to continue after the end of its third programme phase on 31.12.2026. The subject of this invitation to tender is the provision of video and audio interpreting services in accordance with the specifications. The requirements of the specifications and the other conditions of the procurement procedure for performance of the services are intended to be set out in a contract with the future contracting party in order to implement the contract.
