TENDER DESCRIPTION

The BEHALA intends, as the contracting authority, to award winter maintenance services to ensure traffic and operational safety under winter weather conditions across the entire site of the Berliner Großmarkt and the adjacent areas, in particular at properties with increased traffic frequency. The objective of this tender procedure is, on the basis of the tender documents, to bind the performance of winter maintenance services for the period from 1 November 2026 to 31 March 2030 to a qualified service provider through a contract initially for four years and the subsequent repeated option to extend, within the meaning of a framework contract. The subject matter of the performance by the bidder commissioned under this tender procedure is essentially the proper clearing and spreading of snow, ice, and grit on the areas covered by the contract in accordance with the Berliner StrG and the scope of services schedule.
