TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contracting authority intends to award the air rescue operation at the Ravensburg site for the period from 01.07.2028 to 31.08.2051 (23 years and 1 month). The air rescue operation is to be carried out as part of emergency rescue. The service to be awarded includes • the provision of a suitable rescue helicopter and the required medically-technical equipment for the operation of the RTH Christoph Oberschwaben from sunrise (at the earliest from 07:00) daily until sunset plus 30 minutes; • the establishment and operation of an air rescue station on a plot of land provided by the district of Ravensburg in the western district of Ravensburg; • the provision of suitable and qualified helicopter pilots, emergency physicians and HEMS-TC required for operating the RTH; • the performance of primary and secondary missions (“dual-use model”) according to the applicable legal and administrative provisions.
