In addition to the explanations regarding the description of the contract, it should be noted that the information, limited to the essentials in the Informative Performance Description, is supplemented and completed by the detailed requirements set out only in the Functional Performance Description and its annexes as well as the other procurement documents, which are made available to bidders invited to submit an offer. An update, amendment, or specification of the Bundesbank's requirements within the procurement procedure is possible; described services may also change, be omitted, or further services may be added. Due to the special protection needs of the property, increased requirements apply regarding security, resilience, and operation. The requirements for protection needs include a tiered security architecture up to highly secured areas. These specifications will be detailed in the procurement documents and provided to the selected bidders. They will sustainably shape the planning and realization phases as well as floor plans, access, façade and door systems, and technical equipment, going beyond the market standard of a typical office building.
