In addition to the statements regarding the description of the contract, it should be noted that the information in the Informative Performance Specification, limited to the essentials, is supplemented and completed by the detailed requirements which are stated only in the Functional Performance Specification and its annexes as well as in the other procurement documents provided to tenderers invited to submit an offer. An update, amendment or clarification of the Bundesbank’s requirements within the procurement procedure is possible; furthermore, described services may change, be omitted or additional services may be added. Due to the special need for protection of the property, increased requirements apply to security, resilience and operations. The requirements regarding the need for protection include a tiered security architecture up to and including highly secured areas. These requirements are specified in the procurement documents and provided to the selected tenderers.
