Description of the scope of services: The House of Photography (South Hall) in the Deichtorhallen Hamburg is being fundamentally renovated and rebuilt. As part of the construction works, all external wall components, including the load-bearing steel structural frame, will be completely renewed. As part of the interior fit-out, the historic steel structure and the spatial quality of the hall are to be preserved, and the unique atmosphere is to be used as an added benefit. The new installations consist of steel beam structures clad with drywall, with Holorib composite slab ceilings and stair structures made of reinforced concrete. The loads of the new two-storey installations will be supported via steel columns and new micropiles. The partition walls in the basement (UG) are predominantly made of masonry. The floors on the ground floor (EG) and the upper floor (OG) consist of a hollow-core floor structure.
