TENDER DESCRIPTION

Description of the service: The House of Photography (South Hall) in the Deichtorhallen Hamburg is to be comprehensively renovated and converted. As part of the construction work, the exterior wall components including the load-bearing steel supporting structure will be completely replaced. During the interior fit-out, the historic steel structure and the spatial quality of the hall are to be preserved and the unique atmosphere is to be used as an added value. The new installations consist of steel beam/column structures clad with drywall, with Holorib composite slab ceilings and stair structures made of reinforced concrete. The loads of the new two-storey installations will be supported by steel columns and new micropiles. The partition walls in the basement level (UG) are mostly made of masonry. The floors on the ground floor (EG) and on the upper floor (OG) consist of a hollow-slab construction.
