    Since 2018, the Delme Klinikum Delmenhorst (DKD) has been the successor of the former Klinikum Delmenhorst as well as the former St. Josef-Stift Delmenhorst under the umbrella of Josef-Hospital Delmenhorst (JHD) since 2015. The DKD is under the municipal sponsorship of the City of Delmenhorst. On the hospital grounds, one of the most modern new hospital buildings is currently being constructed (planned commissioning mid-2027), as an important basis for a strong and joint future, ensuring that inpatient healthcare provision is secured not only for Delmenhorst. With a total of 290 beds and around 1000 employees, the Delme Klinikum Delmenhorst (DKD) is a hospital providing standard and specialized care. It offers high-quality and safe treatment and diagnostics.
