TENDER DESCRIPTION
The aim is to completely renew the balance beam structure of the Eastern Noordkasteelbrug. Renovating the balance beam of the Noordkasteelbrug is an intervention intended to be able to continue guaranteeing the initially planned service life. In terms of scope, the works for the eastern bridge include: Renewing the balance arm incl. wind braces Renewing the connections between the balance beam and the box girder and possibly renewing the box girder (+ infill) Renewing tie rods Inspection/overhaul and any limited repairs (among other things shock absorbers) to the rocker/heave beams Precisely measuring (as-built) the A, B, C and D hinge points Detailed weighing of the span in order to be able to verify the design assumptions Replacing the main hinge points of the Oostbrug (A+B+C+D bearings) in accordance with the current configuration Optimising all Oostbrug bearings Restoring the anchorage(s) for the A-hinges Providing secondary steelwork (handrails, ladders, walkways), as included in the specifications (procurement documents) All necessary dismantling and installation works As a boundary condition, the existing spans, the support/seat, the rocker/heave…
