Shipping and shipment preparation of 1.70 million personalized invitation letters to a date specified by the Central Office each year. - Following the procurement procedure, the contracting authority will award the mail transport/shipping service under a Europe-wide tender for this performance description. The print service provider has already been determined. This party is responsible for processing the print data. The mail service provider (as tendered here) is responsible for sorting, consolidation and franking (DV franking or alternative postage payment for an alternative mail service provider), according to the three variants (see below, described in more detail in Annex 1 to the tender documents) Brief summary of the possible three variants: Variant 1: Franking in the printing process: The franking is carried out during printing in accordance with the mail service provider’s specifications, either using DV franking (DPAG) or based on provided postage-optimized data (including UPOC).
