Shipping and pre-shipping of 1.70 million personalized invitation letters to a date specified by the Central Contracting Authority for each year. - Following the procurement procedure for this service specification, the contracting authority will award the letter conveyance/shipping service under a Europe-wide tender. The printing service provider has already been selected. It is responsible for processing the print data. The shipping service provider (as tendered here) is responsible for sorting, consolidation and postage/affixing of postage (DV postage/affixing (DPAG) or an alternative franking of an alternative mail service provider), according to the three variants (see below, described in more detail in Appendix 1 of the tender documents) Summary of the possible three variants: Variant 1: Postage/affixing during the printing process: The postage/affixing is already performed during printing according to the requirements of the mail service provider, either by means of DV postage/affixing (DPAG) or by means of provided postage-optimized data (including UPOC).
