TENDER DESCRIPTION

The listed Kestnerstraße primary school is being expanded into an inclusive, barrier-free full-day school. The new building (foyer, auditorium, full-day area and sports hall) will be built in place of the former sports hall from the 1970s and will connect, via an interconnecting building, to the historic gymnasium, now the cafeteria (Mensa). The steel-glass external windows will be fitted with wind-stable sun protection consisting of electrically motor-driven roller shutter systems (Raffstore) with side guide rails and, above them, covers mounted to the raw structure during construction with a louvre pack, 39 units of single-layer (1-fach) lining, 3 units of double-layer (2-fach) lining, height 1,090 - 2,590 mm. The post-and-rail façade will receive similar Raffstore systems, 7 units of single-layer (1-fach) lining, height 2,590 - 4,300 mm. The control systems, including a weather station for automatic weather-dependent control, and maintenance are part of the scope of services.
