TENDER DESCRIPTION

Description: The scope of services comprises the operation of the on-site laboratory, including the organisation of the blood depot (transfusion medicine) at Kreiskrankenhaus Freiberg (outsourcing). The subject matter is ensuring emergency and routine analysis as part of the provision of equipment and the supply of diagnostic reagents by an external service provider for a contract term of 48 months with three extension options, each for a further 12 months. In addition, the medical laboratory services (physician specialist laboratory) from Chapters M III and IV of the Schedule of Fees for Physicians (GOÄ) which are not provided in the on-site laboratory must be performed in good time and with quality assurance by dispatch to an external service. In addition, pathology dispatch services as well as the establishment and operation of a rapid-section laboratory on site must be ensured. The contracting authority’s laboratory services (on-site laboratory and physician specialist laboratory) amount in total to approx. 70 million GOÄ points per year.
