TENDER DESCRIPTION

Within the framework of the public procurement procedure for the selection of the designer, the planning tasks of rebuilding the Vértesi út railway crossing in Debrecen as a grade-separated crossing and the development of the Main Road No. 4 junction will be carried out, including associated stormwater drainage, road construction, pedestrian and bicycle path construction, and related relevant utility works (public lighting, telecommunications, drinking water, sewage). Major design quantities: - design of an approximately 650 meter long grade-separated road, pedestrian, and bicycle crossing with 2x1 traffic lanes, - design of the widening of a main road junction from 2x1 to 2x2 lanes over nearly 300 meters, and the design of a new road approximately 950 meters in total length with at least 2x1 lanes. Detailed definition of design task: Between Debrecen, Vértesi út and Main Road No. 4, the existing on-level railway crossing at Vértesi út shall be rebuilt as a grade-separated crossing, and a new grade-separated junction will be established near the 221+425 km section of Main Road No. 4, including pedestrian and bicycle facilities.
