TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Municipality of Maastricht is responsible for keeping the city safe and liveable. This is done, among other things, by using CCTV. Where CCTV was previously carried out in a fragmented manner within the municipal organisation, in recent years efforts have been made to organise CCTV centrally. This makes it easier to manage and control the environment and to ensure the continuity and operation of CCTV. Particularly in the area of software, important steps have been taken. For example, the majority of the cameras have now been connected to the generic video management system (VMS). The objective of the Contracting Authority is to enter into one (1) framework agreement with one (1) contractor (Contractor) for a period of four (4) years for the acquisition, installation, management and maintenance of cameras in accordance with the most recent laws and regulations (Dutch legislation), supplemented by the framework agreement between the Contracting Authority and the Contractor.
