TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the service to be offered is the takeover as well as the proper and damage-free recycling of the amount of waste wood of category A III collected from private households of the city of Chemnitz (Annex III of the Waste Wood Ordinance dated 15 August 2002, last amended on 19 June 2020). The type of waste wood tendered particularly includes furniture and waste wood from bulky waste collection (waste code numbers 20 01 38, 20 03 07). The service includes the takeover, treatment, possibly interim storage, and recycling of these quantities of waste wood collected within the framework of public waste disposal, as well as the documentation and disposal of any contaminating materials that may arise. The total quantity amounts to approximately 4,200 tonnes throughout the entire contract period. The anticipated volume of category A III waste wood is based on the actual values from 2025 and a derived forecast for the contract period. Monthly or seasonal fluctuations in quantities collected are possible and cannot be concretely verified.
